Who we are

PerformConnect Careers is a product of Think-I Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 16318349). Think-I Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

Questions, requests or complaints: think.i.brand@gmail.com.

What we collect

  • Account details — your name and email address when you create an account.
  • Confidence scan and coaching content — the answers, reflections and goals you enter, so we can give you personalised coaching.
  • Progress data — activity within the app, such as completed exercises and milestones.
  • Payment information — if you subscribe. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
  • Technical data — basic information such as device type and pages visited, used to keep the service working and secure.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To provide the service (contract) — creating your account, running the confidence scan, delivering coaching and tracking progress.
  • To take payment (contract) — managing subscriptions and receipts.
  • To improve and secure the service (legitimate interests) — understanding what works, preventing abuse.
  • To send marketing emails (consent) — only if you opt in. You can withdraw at any time.
  • To meet legal duties (legal obligation) — for example, keeping accounting records.

AI coaching — how it works

Parts of this service use artificial intelligence to generate coaching responses and suggestions. When you use those features, the content you enter is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce a response. Your content is not used to train their models.

AI coaching is designed to support your confidence and career development. It is not therapy, medical, legal or financial advice. If you are struggling with your mental health, please speak to a qualified professional or your GP.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the platform:

  • Supabase — secure database and account hosting (EU/UK region)
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Resend — sending service emails
  • Netlify — website hosting
  • Anthropic — AI coaching responses

Each provider is bound to protect your data and may only use it to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your account information for as long as your account is open. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 6 months, except where we must keep records longer by law (financial records are kept for 6 years).

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate information corrected
  • Ask us to delete your data
  • Object to or restrict how we use it
  • Withdraw consent to marketing at any time
  • Ask for your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these, email think.i.brand@gmail.com. We’ll respond within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls so that only authorised people and systems can reach it. No online service can promise perfect security, but we take this seriously and review it as the platform grows.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure and working. We do not use advertising cookies or sell tracking data.

Age

This service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we make significant changes to this policy we’ll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know by email.
